2014 Chevrolet Trailblazer will soon get a chance to leave its trail in North American market. So far, TrailBlazer has been made for Australian, south-east Asian, Brazilian and South African markets. This mid-sized SUV based on a pickup truck chassis is now in its second generation and is supposed to undergo significant changes to be able to compete on new markets.
All new 2014 Trailblazer will be based on a pickup truck chassis, in this case the next-gen Chevrolet Colorado. To figure that this claim has some solid ground, it is enough to notice that Colorado will be built in the US. That effectively means that TrailBlazer will probably be built there as well.
The 2014 Chevrolet Trailblazer for other markets is offered in LT and LTZ models in both FWD and 4WD configuration, but as far as US market goes, a bit more has to be expected. It will probably have two engine options: 3.6 L V6 VVT with 236 hp and 242 ft-lb of torque and 2.8L diesel MY14 Duramax engine with 200 hp and 370 ft-lb of torque. Transmission will be automatic with 6-speed.
Exterior looks as sharp as any Chevy vehicle, with grille divided down the middle so Chevy’s golden cross can dominate the front end which looks very high and mighty. At the back, vehicle is abruptly cut and has a large horizontal U shaped window.
Since it has a third row of seats, it is clear that Trailblazer is spacious inside, but not as much as his bigger opponents since, after all, it is only a mid-sized SUV. The leather bucket seats available for LTZ model match the flow lines visible in the instrument panel. Some of the features include standard front and rear auxiliary power plugs and remote keyless entry/lock with Pioneer premium 8-speakers on all models as well as rear vision camera and navigation with DVD player on LTZ model. It also has the most advanced safety features including ABS, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution, hill descent control and hill start assist etc.
20 miles per galon is the fuel consumption we can expect from new TrailBlazer which could have been better but is not terrible either.

2014 Chevrolet Trailblazer price
Since Trailblazer has been absent from US market for a long time, it is ungrateful to predict its price. However, judging by its prices in other markets, it is to be expected that roughly around $30,000 will be needed for one.
2014 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be a definite refreshment in the US market, both for potential first time owners and for those that used to own one from the first generation, before its discontinuation.
